By creating an account or using RepForm AI ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Nature of the Service

RepForm AI is a fitness tracking and form analysis tool. It is NOT a medical device, NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, and NOT a replacement for a qualified personal trainer or physical therapist.

2. Assumption of Risk

Exercise carries inherent risks including but not limited to muscle strain, joint injury, cardiovascular events, and death. By using this App, you acknowledge that:

You are voluntarily participating in exercise activities at your own risk.
You have consulted with a physician before beginning any exercise program, or you accept full responsibility for choosing not to do so.
You are physically capable of performing the exercises suggested by the App, or you will modify them according to your abilities.
You will stop exercising immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptoms.

3. Limitations of Form Analysis

The App's form analysis is automated and based on 2D camera pose estimation. It has significant limitations:

It cannot detect all form faults or injury risks.
It cannot see spinal curvature, internal joint mechanics, muscle activation, or breathing patterns.
Correction thresholds are general and may not be appropriate for your specific anatomy, injury history, or training level.
A "good" form score does not guarantee safe technique. A "poor" score does not necessarily mean you are at risk of injury.
The App should supplement, not replace, professional coaching for serious training.

4. AI-Generated Programs and Advice

Training programs, corrective protocols, and coaching advice are generated by artificial intelligence. While based on exercise science research, they are NOT personalized medical prescriptions. The AI may make errors in exercise selection, volume prescription, or progression recommendations.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPFORM AI AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, DEATH, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, including injuries sustained while performing exercises, injuries from following form corrections, injuries from AI-generated programs, or failure to detect dangerous form faults.

YOUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RepForm AI, its creators, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

7. Medical Disclaimer

If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations, consult your healthcare provider before using this App. The injury profile feature is for informational purposes to help customize your experience — it is not a medical assessment tool.

8. Subscription and Payments

Pro features are offered via subscription through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms and your App Store account settings.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Training data is stored securely and used only to provide the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
